ASN Program info

ASSOCIATE OF SCIENCE IN NURSING (ASN)

South Florida College of Nursing’s Associate of Science in Nursing or ASN is a two-year program that prepares individuals to enter the medical field as registered nurses. As a graduate of our ASN program, you’ll be prepared to challenge the National Council Licensing Examination for Registered Nurses exam (NCLEX-RN) and become a licensed registered nurse.

You can earn your ASN in less than two years, pending transfer credits. The degree plan is a 72 credit program divided into six semesters, including general education requirements. Our semesters are 16 weeks in length including instructions, evaluations and clinicals. The Associate of Science in Nursing curriculum has been designed to meet the Florida board of nursing requirements. With the average median salary for an RN at $75,510, it’s worth investing in your future by joining the fulfilling career that is Nursing.

CLINICAL EXPERIENCE

At SFCN, we pride ourselves on our Clinical Experience. From the beginning of your nursing educational journey, you’ll learn patient bedside nursing skills at our affiliated clinical settings and get hands-on experience with real patients.

NCLEX-RN Preparation

Our Associates of Science in Nursing Program was specifically developed to prepare you for the NCLEX-RN Exam. Founded as an NCLEX Review Program, SFCN applied the knowledge gained from helping hundreds of nurses successfully pass the NCLEX and applied it towards the development of our curriculum. When you successfully complete our program, taking the NCLEX-RN exam will feel like second nature, giving you the best chance to pass on your first attempt.
